There were a few other places in Manhattan that we really loved. In addition to Cheeky Sandwches, which I have mentioned before, and the newly opened King Dumplings, we really enjoyed Wu’s Wonton King. When you walk in, it looks like a standard roast meat place, but they have a large, excellent fish-centric menu. We had good meals at Dons Bogam Green and lunch at Wayan. After visiting the Morgan Library we looked for something small nearby, and ended up at Pret A Manger. I was almost ashamed for visiting a chain, but the sandwiches we had were excellent. I would easily go again.
Our best meal in Manhattan was at Shabu Shabu Cocoron. It’s not cheap, and it has to be reserved months in advance, but it was a superbly enjoyable evening.
