The original essay in the New Yorker was quite thought-provoking; I’ve my name down for a copy of the book and looking forward to reading it.

I saw that news about the movie option on jbrekkie’s (her band) Instagram feed and looking forward to that. I read the New Yorker feature as well @ElsieDee and was hooked, too. I recently bought copies for my two closest friends (we’re all Korean), one of whom lost her mom to cancer when she was a teenager. We’re hoping to have a mini-book club on it soon - I’m still waiting for my library copy but I should probably just buy it.
