Openings/Closings Q2 2025 (Boston, New England)

Apparently the family behind Reliable Market is opening a Korean Fried Chicken and cafe in Union Square. Partner saw this sign posted at Reliable. Soft opening July 4. I remember they were doing a crowd funding for Korean fried chicken a while back.

it is my distinct pleasure, not to mention privilege, to announce this:

They opened this morning.

Here were some of their offerings:
B
At the top, the hot-cross-bunny things are garlic rolls – sweet pastry filled with a soft, creamy garlic creamcheese. Delicious. The next row has glazed donuts, then curry-oatmeal cookies (bought both but not tasted yet), vanilla ssuk (superb) and below it cookies with a crunchy caramel-chili-crisp topping (very good). At the bottom, sticky buns (did not buy) and a very nicely sesame-studded chocolate chip cookie.

I also got a container of deviled eggs (3 halves). They are not going to knock the (former?) deviled eggs at Oleana off their pedestal, but were lovely on their own terms.

Drive thee there (but stand behind me in line) ye Satanic folk (or Angelic, if any of you here are of that bent). In the case of the frighteningly athletic @Parsnipity, kayak ye there part way down the Charles, then bicycle the rest.

Looks interesting. Where exactly is this?

292 Concord, Cambridge – see the introductory post I linked to.

See, I was going to jump on my horse and ride him over, but then I remembered he’s afraid of everything from chipmunks to people opening umbrellas. So maybe I’ll stick with your suggestion for my visit. :bike:

Mike and Patty’s opened a Lexington location in a somewhat hidden spot in Lexington, near the Arlington border.

We never eat out for weekday breakfast or lunch but my curiosity might get the best of me. A few vegan choices which makes me happy.
