I was looking for some food delivery on the internet and I found what I thought was a pasta delivery site, i love carbs dot com ( I spell it out like this because I don’t want anyone to go to that site! It is a virus trap ) but it turns out that I misread it and it is really ilovecrabs.com Oooops.
I’m very confused, so besides the fact you are trying to hide your trail of looking up internet porn by posting this weak a$$ excuse, what’s the moral of the story here? You were looking for crabs or carbs? Are you seriously entertaining ordering mail order crabs? Yes I know in the world of dry ice etc. you can pretty much ship anything safely, I just wonder with the abundance of crabs in the local vicinity, why order online? I see they have oysters on that site too, don’t know if I could ever do mail order oysters.
Reminds me of the first time I encountered Omaha Steaks, just about the grand-daddy of mail order foods.
Reminds me of a time when through a series of unfortunate events, I found myself at a fourth -rate restaurant in another city, during an ice storm, with a group of semi-strangers. The service was slow and inept. (When one of our party ordered his drink “on the rocks”, the teen waiter asked if he wanted that with ice.) Clearly, we’d have a long time to consider our menus before our orders were taken. Noting that a crab cake appetizer was on offer, the flamboyant fellow seated next to me mused, wryly, “hmmm…must take an awful lot of crabs to make a CAKE…”
