Olive oil prices?

I know food prices have risen sharply but was shocked when I went to re-order my often used Colavita garlic-infused oil yesterday. For several years Amazon has sold it for $14.99 for 32ml. November ‘23 was my last order. It’s now $28.99 for the same size.

I know the world-wide olive market has been under stress, but DOUBLE??? Am I just ranting or is this happening across the board?

European crops have been hard hit by drought. so - yes, you can expect their prices to rise, and since all boats rise in a drought . . . domestic/CA prices will rise as well - just because they can…
