Oakland chef, restaurateur Rashad Armstead won the latest Food Network cooking competition of Chopped on Tuesday, July 23rd. Chef Rashad currently owns Grammie’s Down-Home Chicken & Seafood on Market St. in Oakland and in two weeks is launching Crave BBQ at Hilltop in Richmond, “a BBQ and blues house with live music and barbecue.” Grammie’s, 3817 Market St, Oakland.
Grammie’s is located in the former Las Palmas burrito spot, whose old signage may still be up.
