/* ACRE took over the old Oliveto space (both casual cafe and sit-down upstairs restaurant) in Market Hall in Rockridge, by the BART station. The restaurant is a more casual, family-friendly space than Oliveto. Live jazz on Wed evenings.
We dined there last year and enjoyed dinner. Wouldn’t call it a great restaurant, but very pleasant and more affordable than Oliveto. Good, cheerful service; full bar. Did not try the cafe downstairs.
Restaurant is a better fit for the neighborhood, I think. Unlike Oliveto, a varied mix of diners: couples casually eating pizza and burgers with young kids; after-work Millennials having Happy Hour drinks and noshes; several multi-generation family groups. And this was on a weekday evening, which impressed us.
