[NYT] In a Starving World, Is Eating Well Unethical?

She’s not my favorite writer (although this was better than her restaurant reviews), and there’s not much there that hasn’t been said before regarding living well overall, as opposed to just eating well. But it’s a good overview for people who haven’t thought much about the topic before.

In writing such an article, one needs to define, what is “eating well”, I mean eating a grass fed animal’s meat is different from those eating a golden plated burger. I find the article rather weak in its construction. It’s mixing everything in a dish.

What is really unethical is how the food industry’s enormous wastage of food.
