before we had kids we were at sals at least twice a month, not so much for the decent pizza but for the linguine with calamari fra diavolo. the owner’s father made it for us, he didnt speak English but he understood we loved the dish.
once the kids were a little older, we took them to cobble hill a couple of times a year, mostly for ninos (closed a while ago), court st pastry and a stop at sahadis. at some point we stopped by sal’s but didnt recognize any of the workers.
