NY vs. NJ - Lohud Food Truck Mash-up! Yonkers, NY

Calling all NY AND NJ HOs! There’s about to be a showdown at the casino in Yonkers - NY vs. NJ food trucks. Here’s the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1205039052973356/?acontext={“ref”%3A"106"%2C"action_history"%3A"null"}

And from the local paper: http://www.lohud.com/story/life/food/2017/07/17/new-york-takes-jersey-first-ever-lohud-food-truck-mash-up/483908001/

Could make for a good HOdown and a chance for NY and NJ to get acquainted! I’ll cross post on the NJ board so they see it too.

Has anyone tried any of these food trucks before?

I haven’t, although I have eaten at Luke’s Lobster in the city. They are decent for a lobster roll outside of Maine!

Biondanonima-
Thanks for the rave review L on Lukes. I have trouble getting around (disabled) but a few weeks ago ,i took the train in and went over to Vanderbilt Hall,narrowed it down to Luke’s which had no one on line (a saturday) or Delaney chicken - sounds like I made the right choice Delaney’s. The price at Luke’s was too high for anything but sensational. Delaney’s was excellent,although I got pieces,next time will try the sandwich. Wish Delaney’s would become one of the city restaurants that are going into the westchester - so far those are only ok imo.

I haven’t been to Delaney’s so I can’t say for sure, but I do agree that Luke’s is overpriced. Lobster rolls are never cheap but theirs isn’t especially generous for the price.
