I recently had Sunday brunch at Novara in Milton. Not a very imposing street presence, but it used to be a cinema that didn’t survive the arrivals of the megaplexes. The interior is gorgeous with high ceiling, an enormous bar, and a nice patio. The Italian brunch was good, and the winner was Nonna’s meatballs and the lightly smoked salmon. $5 make your own Bloody Marys wasn’t stingy on the vodka either.
