NJ Snowday Food Poem

Are you a poet? Do you know it? Then it’s time to show it.

Any of the NJ HOs bored today in the snow post a verse here about your favorites at all the NJ restaurants that will be closed today. I started it off:

This morning the snow had me snug in my bed,
While visions of Nicholas danced in my head.
$125 steak from the Tavern that’s Grand,
Or the Tomahawk bone from Blu Grotto in hand.
Maybe IMG al pastor straight off the spit,
Or a rack of Local Smoke ribs to split.
The choices are endless, but none of them real,
So I just roll over like a good little seal.

My friend has a Thanksgiving poem he would recite at the table… they’d all hold hands and someone would say

“Rub a dub dub thanks for the grub”
