I’m noting a current trend that has been growing wildly in the past few years Huge nurseries become a Mecca for food , kids zones, hayrides, pumpkin patches, corn mazes and even a Wild West show. Me I like smaller venues but man this weekend the traffic around Monroe, Manalapan,Freehold was nuts.
I curious do anyone here have a favorite place I’m partial to Battleground Orchard but was amazed at the crowd Sunday at Delicious Orchard ( not unexpected) they handled the crowd well.
I suspect that all of those activities are good money makers for the owners of smaller places. I won’t go anywhere near DO on a weekend and certainly not after November 15 if I can possibly help it. Have you been to Eastmont Orchards? I went there a couple of years ago to pick specific varieties… Small and the only other thing they had were pumpkins.
Yes I have been there recently nothing to bring me back.Not many out of state visitors and not very crowded
