I had dinner at Nippon Curry in the Marina last Saturday, formerly known as Hinoya Curry. It’s a chain from Japan, and they renamed their US locations to Nippon Curry back in 2022.
The menus - you order and pay at the counter, and they bring out your order to you.
I had the Pork Katsu Curry ($17), which was very good. The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful inside. There was a slightly spicy brown curry, and some fukujinzuke and a pickled onion to provide some acidic crunch.
And also a bottle of Asahi for $3 because it was all day happy hour, what a deal.
