The Wife and uncle (retired sushi chef) did all the heavy lifting. My only minor concern was the wife would over order. She tells me later the Captain did remove some items because we wouldn’t be able finish everything. Waste not, Want not

The restaurant does not take reservations per se. Call before arrival and a number is assigned with an approximate ready time. We were a tad late and missed our window. NP, we only had to wait an extra 3 parties for our table.
DRUNKEN SHRIMP
Not hyperbole. The BEST Drunken Shrimp ever. Everything worked on this dish. Literally bursting from the shell with snappy shrimpy essence, mildly enhanced by the complementary wine.
18 CUT RAW CRAB with ROE
A Ningbo Specialty. Precise cut LIVE crab is marinated, the timing and flavor of the process at this restaurant is outstanding!! Fresh clean colorful Roe makes for a splendid sensory experience.
WHITE POMPANO with RICE CAKES
The wife had had mentioned occasionally that WHITE Pompano was a Special expensive treat growing up in Taiwan. Uncle agrees. Had to order. Good, not Must Have again soon Good.
China continues to impress and amaze with her culinary strength, even in the lower tier cities. I will write up a few more meals later, continue to be impressed.
With industrial pollution still rampant along the Chinese coast line, I am hesitant in eating any seafood - ’ RAW ’ , especially when travelling from city to city. So many things to worry about…toxin, bacteria, parasites…etc.
My oyster related food poisoning last year that lasted for 4 agonizing days was NO FUN!!
