New Year's brunch [NJ]

Pancrepes with apple walnut compote and pork sausage at my house. What are you having?

For the first time in five years, we were not at home in NJ having our annual beef fondue and listening to the Classical Countdown on WQXR. Michael will be turning 75 at the end of this month and wanted to celebrate the start of his next quarter century at our Number 1 favorite NYC restaurant, Eleven Madison Park. I know this is the NJ board, but in case anyone’s interested, here’s my blog post about it.

On January 1st, we ate a small breakfast of fruit and cheese in and then had lunch at another favorite NYC spot, Blue Smoke. Photos of what we ate.

Wishing all my NJ food-obsessed cohorts a healthy, joy-filled, and delicious New Year!
