Returning to the topic (that pickle diversion was fun…)
New items for me this week were this Jumbo Reed avocado (from growers in California) and (pickles, again…) a small jar of cornichons, which I’d never had at home. Purchased because the Italian devilled egg recipe called for them, finely chopped. Given the pickle to other filling ratio, I could have used standard sweet midgets without noticing a flavor difference. HB egg for size.
