Has anyone eaten at the Mona Lisa Salumeria Deli in Scarsdale?
How does it compare to Buon Amici and Giannonis?
Any other suggestions (vegetarian friendly would be optimal), on where to go?

I find Mona Lisa to be the best of the bunch. More “traditional” and perhaps less variety but everything is well prepared. Also, if you look carefully, they carry breads from Il Forno (bronx bakery) and you can purchase that and they will cut it to size and make a hero on part of it - better than the standard hero wedge (imho).
In what ways is Mona Lisa better than Giannonis? I need a cross comparison.
Mona Lisa is a traditional italian deli -their prepared food is very good, but it is strictly take- out and canned/packaged food for takeout. To tell the truth,I’ve only been to Giannonis once ,for a philly style cheesesteak, and they had run out of roast beef to (?) to grill, I forget what I had instead but was not impressed. Buon Amici is more like Mona Lisa, but I prefer ML. At ML,you will see/notice that even when crowded they take their time to make a sandwich or anything else. They don’t skimp or cut corners- they take a lot of pride in everything they do.
