[Nashville, TN] Pucketts

We’d eaten here on a previous trip and it was ideal this this time for an early dinner before the show at the nearby Ryman Auditorium. We only wanted a main course.

So, that was a ribeye and a meatloaf. Steak was a little overcooked from that requested but not sufficiently so for it to go back. It was quite flavoursome for American beef. Meatloaf was absolutely bang-on for taste & texture. It came with a good mushroom gravy in just the right quantity to moisten it, without drowning it in a sea of gloop. Both dishes come with mashed potato and fried green beans (which were overly salty), although the steak eater swapped the spuds for a house salad (which arrived early so as eaten as a starter).

Service was slick and we were away in plenty of time for the show. We spotted that they open for breakfast and thought we might give them a try, as a change for the hotel one (but, in the event, we didn’t).
