N Y State Beer Dinner to be held at Chianti, July 20th...

Chef/proprietor Paul Caputo of Gina Marie’s Chianti in Tuckahoe will be hosting a New York State Beer Dinner on Thursday, July 20th. Featured will be brews from Bronx Brewery, Blue Point of Long Island, and Southern Tier from upstate New York. A multi-course dinner will be wrapped around the proceedings. Cost will be $55 per person all inclusive. Reservations, of course. Caputo said he would have the menu completed in several days. Will post.

Picked up a copy of the Beer Dinner menu from Chianti. There will be 4 courses with choices in each category such as: Beer Battered Sea Scallops & Shrimp; Baby Field Greens with roasted beets, goat cheese and toasted almonds with a beer infused dressing; Sliced Steak over broccoli rabe with roasted potatoes served with a beer horseradish steak sauce; and beer infused Fried Watermelon with a chocolate balsamic reduction.
