I had never hear of My Own Pizza. There are apparently four locations, all in the DC area.
Stuck eating something quickly right before a movie, I figured that the pizza option in the mall food court would be the most affordable and least offensive.
So then why was I stuffing my face with this mall pizza? Two things: first, I was impressed with the crust. Second, there was an addictive flavor, and I couldn’t quite figure out why. It was funky but in a very, very good way.
I mostly avoid reheated pizza by the slice, but this was above and beyond my expectations. I am not saying it is as good as Andy’s pizza, but it was a big surprise.
