In a strip mall near me, one of these is nearing opening. The Goog tells me there are a few elsewhere in my state, and many in California.
Is Mountain Mike’s any good? If so, what’s their style, and what recommends it? Favorites?

It kind of depends on location, and possibly even who is working that day. The one near me (I could almost hit it with a rock if I had a moderately strong tailwind) has varied over the years from very good to meh. Most of the time they’re at least good, but the inconsistency is a bother. There are two (three?) others fairly close to places I shop or otherwise do a lot of business, and the same inconsistency seems to apply to those, too. Their pricing used to be quite good, but now it seems like they’re costing more and more. Then again, Round Table’s prices have also gone up in recent years, so maybe it’s just the general pizza trend to which I object and not chain-specific.
I would say whatever you think of Round Table, you’d also think about Mountain Mike’s.

About the same quality level as Domino’s (and even similar style) - nothing which will kill you but also nothing you will remember for more than 5 minutes.

This could again be a quality control issue, but MM is miles better than Domino’s. I think the only worse pizza I’ve had compared to Domino’s came from Winco.

We had MM pizza on 3-4 occasions from different locations over 2-3 years (never really our choice as there are much better options near by) and none of them was significantly better than Domino’s - so I have some doubts if this is consistency issue but more a quality issue
I think all locations have a lunchtime buffet, but I’ve never been to our local ones.
Edit: Google says participating locations, not all.
Their pepperoni cups up when crisped, which is the way I like it. That’s all I remember from the few times I went there for the lunch buffet.
