i am almost a vegetarian/pescatarian. Have been for years. I still eat dairy so I’m not vegan.
I eat pork and beef a few times a year. Birds I eat more often, but usually something more tasty to me than supermarket chicken.
I’m not interested in eating organ meats of any kind. They aren’t tasty to me.
I realize not a problem to others who like organ meats. You like it, eat it!
I’ve tried chicken liver traditional Jewish Ashkenazi dishes. I am not Jewish, but identify as Sephardic. I’m not interested in organ meat at all. Not just because of taste, but because of personal ethics. I love the taste of octopus but won’t eat it anymore.
I don’t want to take this off topic because of personal ethical and taste preferences. So I won’t say more.
Black licorice is THE worst. I’m not a fan of most anise flavored things, but I do use a few things if they are blended in with other spices (like dried anise) or cooked with enough other seasonings that mask that taste. I give side eye to the fennel too.
Other things on the list I don’t choose to eat too often, but at least I’ll use them if needed.
