Monks and fruit cakes

Have you ever bought a fruit cake from monks? If you have a rec please share it. I used to hear about it years ago on food network…

Our Oregon
monks make several varieties.
I’ve had the traditional one.
Good stuff.

I sent one to my cousins from Trappist Monks in Missouri last year, and they liked it.

I haven’t tried it.

No, and I’m also curious to hear about others’ experiences.

My problem is that I love fruitcake, but I can’t eat walnuts which all fruitcakes seem to have.

the fruitcake I bought that’s made in Texas is made with pecans, but it isn’t made by monks.

That Collins St fruitcake is the fruitcake our Texan sent us for 30 years, and I have sent it to people over the last 5 years
