Notable, for me:
Tim Ho Wan only has one branch with the bib- Tai Kwok Tsui, not the branch at e.g. IFC.

Does this mean Ho Hung Kee is again a 1 star? I don’t get that one. I don’t see it being substantially different from Tasty’s, and they both shouldn’t get a star.

Fu Sing’s on the Bib Gourmand list?! How come? I think it should be on the main list and worth at least 1-Michelin-star!

Fu Sing has always been on the Bib Gourmand list. I don’t think it’s gotten any stars in the past. With that said, I agree with you, the food is quality. What do you like at Fu Sing?

Fook Lam Moon’s gone. So is Golden Leaf.

Not a great year (from the star perspective) for Lei Garden. 4 of them lost stars, including Central and Wanchai. Anyone knows what happened?

Fu Sing does quite a few dishes well, including the braised pomelo skin with shrimp roe - my fave rendition anywhere in HK!

But my fave dish there has always been the braised noodles with crab meat. Perfection in a bowl - the portion has always been meant to serve 2-4 persons, but I usually have it all to myself.

We could still happily dine again at a couple of those places that no longer have stars . . . and plenty that never had any . . .

Oh yes, of course. Its better that places don’t get any, so the tourists don’t swarm the places.

For Lei, I am just curious whether there is something systematic there, since they are known for their military precision in quality control…
