Michael Symon's Angeline Borgata AC NJ

Went last night, one week after they opened I know.

Very nice looking restaurant and plenty of staff.

We had caesar salad, garlic bread, bucatini with short rib, and the famous meatballs. Everything was good and the meatballs especially so. Prices were a tad high for Italian food, but low for a Borgata restaurant. We shared a peach crostata for dessert that was mediocre - the accompanying marscapone ice cream tasting like plain old vanilla.

So, if you’re at the Borgata and you’re craving Italian food, you should go. But I think the real question is, Did AC really need another Italian restaurant? At the end of the day this is what Angeline is, and I would have preferred somthing different or even more creative Italian like Via45.
