Count me a follower of the online show, many of the recipes work and cut out the BS but I have no idea who the guy is behind the sarcastic performance. From what I’ve read, his on camera style has evolved over several projects. Sometimes he’s a hoot…other times it’s like watching awkward reality tv with a whisk.

I enjoy his videos. He must be Alton Brown’s little brother. Lol.
I’ve tried to watch him on YouTube but just can’t get into him. Alton Brown is very annoying. I do, however, really enjoy Kenji López-Alt cook barefoot in his kitchen

Yes. I like Basics more than Binging. He’s no Jacques Pepin on technique but his persona is approachable and his food looks pretty appealing. Mostly. I’ve never cooked from any of his material but I do sometimes have his YouTube channel running in the background while I’m working. The production quality is darn good and I like that he really does focus on the food. For cooking I’d give him a solid B+/A-.
