As reported by North West Caterer, Rogan will sever his involvement with the French with effect from the end of October, three years in to a five year contract.
You can only presume that this is as a result of the French not gaining a star. Or, if I was to be more frank, Rogan not giving sufficient committment to the French - as we know, his London restaurant gained a star after 12 months. Fuck you, Simon.
As reported, the head chef at the French and the one at the more informal brasserie will remain in posts and develop their own style. Have to wish them the best of luck .
