Malt loaf

I was in the Oak Barrel yesterday getting some supplies, and pointed Stacey to this topic. She was confused at first when I said that an acquaintance had gotten some malt extract there, but then it became clear. If you’re reading, hi Stacey!

Hi Stacey! I’m Ernie’s acquaintance (silver curly hair) who bought the malt extract to make malt loaf. I may make another loaf this weekend. As several recipes mentioned, the taste and texture really do get better after you let it age for a couple of days - “maximum squidgy texture” Prue Leith.
