Madras Dosa Corner (Issaquah, WA)

I had tried coming here last weekend but there was a line out of the door. This was of course a good sign, but my family was not inclined to wait. Returning for lunch this week, I found a half-full space of mostly South Asian guests, and most of those having the lunch special, which is not shown on the online menu but consisted of assorted Tamil-style curries and pickles with rice. I tried GHEE PODI DOSA (pictured); truth be told, they forgot to add the “masala” which in this case is spiced potatoes to be stuffed inside the rolled dosa. Error aside, the quality of the pancake itself was very high; the sambar had a good kick to it; the chutnies were competent but could have used a bit more heat (the mint variety seemed less than fresh).

Overall probably the best dosa I have had in this area, while not quite up to my personal gold standard (Sri Ganesh of Jersey City) in terms of QPR. Eager to return for various other South Indian dishes.
