Yuumm!! Another satisfying Chinese meal in the bag! Based on all the past accumulative dining experiences acquired at this hidden gem. LUNA is quickly becoming my favorite, go-to higher-end Chinese eatery in town. Offering a near perfect total dining experience package of rare privacy at no extra cost, tasteful and appealing decor, cozy and tranquil ambience, friendly and attentive service plus most importantly, fantastic, top notch food at reasonable pricing. These are the criteria every discriminating foodies should be looking for in picking a perfect dining venue!
The majority of the dishes we ordered tonight tasted marvellous with near flawless preparation. For the first time, I can even experience addictive, aromatic fragrances emitting from leading edges of plates approaching from afar! The cooking skill and resulting smoky wok-hay of all the stir fried creations were sensational. Sauces and glazes were distinct and striking, the taste and consistency, a notch or two more refined than most….. As reflected by the stunning and remarkable tasting sauteed Angus steak cubes! If ever there is an out-of-this-world, prepared a la minute dish … .this is the one! Bravo!

Kung Pao Chicken ( Outstanding wok-hay and smelling so good! The gorgeous and distinct sauce….well balanced and spice level with a nice kick. Deliiiish! )

Thousand layer Sweet & Sour Pork with fresh fruits ( A nouveau and creative approach to this classic dish. Tasty and interesting in appearance and texture. Though, for me, a touch on the heavy side and hence a near miss )

Sauteed Angus steak cubes with Foie Gras morsels and black pepper ( IMO, the Star of the evening! A Wow worthy dish! Tasted simply awesome and amazing! Nobody in town does it better! )

Stir fried string bean with mixed mushrooms ( Skillfully cooked resulting in perfect consistency and doneness )
Complimentary desserts of Osmenthus and Lychee jello; Chinese Almond Cookies
Sadly, the only down side of the evening was the gradual slowing down of the attentive service due to a lack of staff when service traffic started to pick up near peak hours!
