We enjoyed a sensational dinner at Lula, In Ridgewood, NJ. It was our first, but definitely not last, time. Everything was so flavorful, with so much depth. We enjoyed Elite Prime coulotte steak with
Pomme Puree, Crispy Sunchoke Chips & Black Garlic Jus; Clam Jam- Beer-Braised Littlenecks, Calabrian Chili, House Sausage, Espelette Butter, Focaccia; Atlantic Cod & Cockles - Grilled Red Pepper Romesco, Marcona Almonds, Scallions, Lemon; Serrano Jamon & Sicilian Summer Melon - Marcona Almonds, Basil, Espelette, Nasturtium; Hamachi Crudo - Charred Pineapple Broth, Avocado, Basil, Long Hot Pepper, Vidalia Onion. We enjoyed a pickled cucumber amuse bouche. We took home a fluffy, light as a feather lemon meringue for dessert. It all went great with an excellent cabernet and Priorat.
