After 5 years at the East Bay Express, Luke Tsai will become the food editor at SF Magazine at the end of March. I don’t know him but emailed him a few times and he was very responsive and enthusiastic. He has covered places that otherwise would not have received recognition and, in my opinion, the quality of his work is better than the more well-known critics on the same type beat who cover LA, NY and other cities.
