Looking for a list of restaurants that will be open for lunch or early dinner this Christmas Day.
Sit down meal is necessary. Open to Chinese, Italian, Latin, Mexican, Steakhouse or American–but not a diner.
We will be a group of 6-8, adults and older teens.
Lower Westchester–Yonkers, White Plains, Pelham, New Rochelle, Eastchester or nearby.
If anyone has any suggestions or knows of a current list I would appreciate it!
I recently had a loud but festive lunch at Ruby’s Oyster Bar in Rye. There were 6 adults and 3 kids under the age of 8 and they handled us deftly. It’s certainly not innovative food, but large portions of crowd pleasers.
Their website states to call the restaurant to enquire about holiday hours.
Edited: I started looking on a well-known kid-centric website, mommypoppins, for activities while we visit my brother in Mamaroneck. They have a list of Westchester restaurants open on xmas.
