I’m super nearby. I’m based in a village, in rural La Palma (just a little over 200 population) and do (volcano) walks every day. Did a nice walk to Volcan Martin yesterday and could see the top of Mt. Teide somewhere along the route. Unfortunately it was hazy in the distance.

Got back yesterday after a two week “fly and flop” holiday. It’s been a bucket list item to have Xmas Day lunch in Tenerife - in sight of the ocean and a big steak to eat. Not a turkey in view. For a variety of family reasons, we’ve never been able to do it till now.

Weather has been hazy (but warm) on a number of days - couldnt even see La Gomera.
