Hi there: I got a big beef heart from my FarmFoods meat mail order service. I want to use part of it to make Peruvian anticuchos, which requires aji panca paste.
Does anybody know where I can get this in south bay or lower peninsula? Thanks in advance.
I don’t know, but I have some (I’m sort of northeast bay) and it seems like it ought to be easier than getting a big beef heart! Do you a Mexican market nearby? Be sure to check frozen section. Goya and Inca make it.
La Plaza in Mountain View specializes in South American products and is my go to for Peruvian stuff like this. I’ve definitely seen it there.
