How sad. I must’ve been to London 50 times in the last 30 years, but never got round to go in there.

Same here. When I worked for the British American Tobacco 2011 to 2016, I usually stay at Club Quarters, near Trafalgar Square whenever I am in London, and would walk to our office at Globe House, Temple Place, passing by Hotel Strand Continental hundreds of times without ever knowing that India Club even existed!
Sad. Never heard of it, but those walls must have witnessed so much.
