Lobster Rolls / Lobster Sandwiches in Toronto

Whoever catered an event at the ROM last week, served bite-sized lobster roll sandwiches. More party sandwich -shaped, not in a tiny hot dog buns. Nice change from sliders. They were good, although a little more frugal than I would be if I was serving them as an appetizer.

It might have been Daniel and Daniel.

I bought a frozen uncooked lobster tail at Newport Fish on Geary, and made my own lobster roll at home. They have 3 or 4 sizes of frozen lobster tail. I bought the biggest size, since it would have the most meat.
My homemade lobster roll on a brioche hot dog bun from evil Weston Superstore. Hellman’s, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and homegrown basil . This was more satisfying than my last couple Toronto resto lobster rolls. That said, I still plan to try Rodney’s Market Price Lobster Roll at some point later this summer.
