Previously located near Le Parc on Hwy#7 and Leslie. This ‘giant lobster specialist’ was amongst a handful of such eateries in the Richmond Hill/Markham neighbourhood. Besides their forte in preparing Giant Lobster multiple ways. They also offer an array of well crafted luncheon Dim Sum dishes. However, this fine dining establishment was frequently overlooked and overshadowed by the likes of ‘The One Fusion’, ‘Yu_Seafood’, ‘Providential 9’ or Skyview Fusion…to name a few in the area.
Meeting a few good friends who were willing to come all the way from downtown to chow with us. We decided to give this old favourite, now in its new location, a try. The result?!.. a delightful and enjoyable Dim Sum luncheon with management being able to maintain its old standard, despite closing for 4 months to allow for relocation and renovation.
The dishes we ordered included:
- Fried Taro Croquettes
- Harm Shui Gok - savoury stuffed doughnuts
- Fresh Baked Chicken Pie in mild curry sauce
- Har Gow steamed prawn dumplings
- Steamed Chicken Feet in preserved plum and bean paste sauce
- Pan fried Turnip Cakes
- Steamed Chicken Bun
- Steamed Rice Crepe with BBQ Pork filling
- Pumpkin, Sweet Corn and Taro Congee
All in all, an enjoyable Dim Sum luncheon featuring well seasoned and crafted products.
BTW, the newly renovated place was bright and airy featuring tons of chandeliers! However, due to the relatively low ceiling level, noise level was a touch high!
