Chippy lunch – although the menu is longer than just chippy food.
Nice fillets of haddock, accurately cooked and with a really good, crisp batter. Mushy peas that were spot on – mushy but not slushy. Unfortunately, let down by pale, underfried chips.

It’s a couple of years since we were last here for lunch. Same good quality. Good sized piece of cod (it was the “fish of the day”), perfectly cooked, in a very crisp batter. Chips were fine. Mushy peas also decent enough but more puree than just mushy – tasted good though.
