A chippy lunch. And it was everything you want from a chippy lunch.
Generous portion of perfectly cooked haddock, in the crispiest batter I’ve come across in a long time. Not a hint of oiliness. Good chippy chips – fully cooked with a nice colour and just that hint of floppiness that sets a good chip apart from a bad chip. Or American style fast food fries. And mushy peas, of course. Excellent texture here as well. Mushy but not slop.
