I don’t often get into the city anymore - traffic, parking headaches. But I was in the area for a medical appt and since I used public transit and finished early I went for a walk around my old stomping grounds (went to high school on Shaw). I passed by so many eateries mentioned here.
Stopped for miso caramel macchiato amd ube/ginger onigiri at Tsuichi cafe … no I did not consume at the same time 
How recent was Bottega Volo transformation? It’s stunning
