Little Grand aspires to be the best bar alley pizza in DC. I do not doubt it, mostly because I know of no other bar located down an alley that specializes in pizza. It’s off 7th St just north of H St in the Atlas District.
If there were competition in this category, I am confidant in saying Little Grand is more little than grand.
The tomato sauce is too acidic, the cheese too salty, and the sourdough crust has no rise to it, so it flat, dense, and boring. It is also more expensive that the fine pizza just three blocks away at Old City Market and Oven.
