See? Now even I, a fluent speaker of our mutual language, can’t be sure if you are using our vernacular, or are being serious.

QED.

I loved reading this!

By the by, did you know there’s a HUGE difference between a pork knuckle and a moose knuckle?

The world is full of surprises!

Is a moose knuckle like a bear claw?

Absolutely NOTHING like a bear claw!

That’s not what the interwebz are telling me. Are you implying the online gods are WRONG???

This is a bear claw:

This, OTOH, is a moose knuckle:

Serial Mom is an absolutely HILARIOUS John Waters film from 1994 starring Kathleen Turner, Rikki Lake, and Sam Waterston. In it, the real all-female punk band L7 puts on a concert as the fictional band “Camel Lips”. They sing a song called “Gas Chamber”.

Here’s a publicity photo:

I prefer their choice of clothing over the selection of song titles :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

just FYI, the gas chamber in question is the ‘USA death penalty’ version, rather than the ‘European genocide’ version, if that helps.

Not really.

Yes not reakky!

Hi everyone! I guess I’ve been on this site for a month or so and would love to introduce myself and get to know y’all better.

  1. I’m located in the Atlanta area
  2. I’m a vegetarian, so I love hearing about good, vegetarian-friendly options. Big fan of Asian cuisine, so always down to discuss good recommendations and recipes. I love learning about healthy, quick meals as well
  3. L’Industrie in New York; maybe the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had. Very basic, but worth it
  4. I recently got into cooking and am also an avid coffee lover. My Nespresso is my baby

Welcome @tpattani!

In addition to your regional board, you might enjoy dipping your toes into some of the “regular” boards here, which include weekly menu planning, what’s for dinner, cookbook of the month (actually two for this quarter — here and here), cuisine of the quarter, dish of the quarter, baking, and also non-baked treats,
