Gutted, but we were also gutted more so when the first iteration of Chantecler closed. Now that we live out of town and not steps from Le Phenix in Parkdale it takes a planned visit to come to it. But knowing there is a Chantecler 2.0 (even if it’s up on Bloor) it will be absolutely worth it. And Jacob is an absolute class act of a person and proprietor (not like that prick/jerk Jonny Poon).
