We had lunch here last week while exploring the 15th. 8€ starters & 17€ mains. Here’s the menu.
I went with the carpaccio of pigs’ feet. It came out exactly as I expected - like a head cheese, pounded thin. The texture was melty, so it was nice spread on some bread. But the flavor fell flat. I wanted to taste more pork, and pieces & parts, but it just wasn’t there. My husband won the appetizer round with the yellow pepper & tomato soup with ricotta & smoked almonds. Delicious.
Both mains were great. The sea bream was crispy on the outside & flaked perfectly. Loved all the veggies that came with it, too. The duck confit had wonderfully crispy skin & a really nice chew. It was served with some tasty white beans.
There was a smattering of people at lunch, most appeared to be on their lunch breaks from work. Outdoor seating, but it looked uncomfortable so we passed. Friendly & efficient service, good value.
