I had dinner this past week with friends at Bistrot Flaubert in the 17th. It is owned by the Eclore Group, which began only in 2018, and so far it is the only restaurant in the group without at least one Michelin star. Will that continue to be the case? My account of our dinner is here.

We had dinner there last July, and absolutely loved it — the food, the staff, the wines, the ambience, and the fabulous terrace. This was either right before, or immediately after, the chef change. Anyway, great to hear that it’s going well, and we look forward to returning this fall, this time to enjoy the lovely interior.
