Hi, all. I am somewhat embarrassed to ask this question, but has anyone been to Laperouse in the last 100 years? I have some state-side friends who are interested in going. I am sure that I could dissuade them and/or veto the choice, but I don’t want to be snooty unless the circumstances warrant. Thoughts?

I would rather go to one those kitchy dinners at Versailles than Laperouse.
How old are your friends? Have they mentioned why Laperouse is high on their bucket list? What style restaurant do they enjoy at home?
