La Salette in Sonoma

Lunch in Sonoma, CA, at one of our fave places anywhere La Salette. They’re heavily Portuguese influenced and we take advantage of that and other offerings. Today they started us with an amuse buche of a shot glass of red and golden beet puree topped with citrus yogurt. ‘Shot’ it as instructed. Heaven smile emoticon Then we went with the five item tascas/tapas board. From top left, it was toasted almonds, escargot, pork belly, fried pig ears, and two portions of their tripe stew. Finished up with an order of BOLINHOS de BACALHAU (Cod cakes, cilantro aioli, Moroccan black olive coulis). A bottle of Portuguese vinha verde and little complimentary chocolate truffles. Including tip $90
