Kula, Cupertino in pre-opening

Kula (Cupertino), the revolving sushi restaurant chain from JP that has a number of outposts in SoCal, has been in pre-opening for the last few days. Official opening is on the 12th. Order from the tablet screen in front of you, and the sushi arrives via a belt, or just grab stuff from the revolving belt. The word is that the lines have been very long on the weekends so far. $2.25 per plate. I don’t know if the organic Lundberg rice selling point is a good thing or a curse as I am generally not a big fan.
